English Ministry Associate Pastor - Calgary Chinese Alliance Church

Overview

Calgary Chinese Alliance Church (CCAC) is a growing, multicultural and intergenerational community of Christfollowers located in the NE Calgary community of Beddington. Our desire as a church is to focus on the three key aspects of our Christian faith: Gospel, Discipleship, and Mission, helping people to grow holistically along a church-wide Discipleship Pathway.

CCAC is looking for a full-time English Ministry Associate Pastor to join the pastoral team to serve in the English Congregation. The church was established over 40 years ago, and has been uniquely serving Chinese and other ethnic communities through 3 language congregations (Cantonese, Mandarin, English).

The main focus of the English Ministry Associate Pastor is to provide pastoral leadership in the English Congregation along with the current pastors at CCAC. He/she will be actively participating in the English Ministry Committee (EMC) for defining, planning and executing the ministry plan for the English Congregation, as well as assessing and guarding the spiritual health of the church. Under the guidance of the Senior Pastor (and in the absence of a Senior Pastor, the Board of Elders (BOE) or the designated Personnel Committee), the English Ministry Associate Pastor will perform his/her pastoral duty that aligns with the vision and ministry plan set forth by the BOE.
