The successful candidate for this role is to provide pastoral care for the younger generation (i.e., young adults and families).

The successful candidate for this role will provide pastoral ministry support to the Cantonese Ministry Congregation (CMC), working alongside current CMC pastors.

The Discipleship Pastor’s main focus will be developing discipleship pathways at River of Life Alliance Church to align with our new vision statement. River of Life began as “First Filipino Alliance” in Calgary and remains a Filipino-majority church. However, our church has a longing to shift and begin reaching the nations. Therefore, this pastor will work with the staff to develop strategies and equip the community at RLAC to be obedient to the Great Commission. This role will be integral to moving RLAC in our new cross-cultural & multigenerational direction.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about developing and leading strategies that equip and mobilize people to live out their faith beyond the walls of the church. This includes helping people build meaningful relationships and embrace a “scatter” lifestyle in their everyday lives.
