Associate Pastor – Discipleship and Pastoral Care - Rocky Alliance Church

The Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Pastoral Care is a member of the pastoral team at Rocky Alliance Church, and is called to minister in accordance with the constitution and bylaws of the C&MA.

The position of the Associate Pastor of Discipleship and Pastoral Care will include the following areas of ministry responsibility:

1. Serve as part of the pastoral team, under the leadership and direction of the Lead Pastor
2. Provide vision, strategy and oversight of a discipleship ministry that is repeatable and measurable, whereby the attendees of Rocky Alliance understand and own their calling by God to “go and make disciples”.
3. Provide leadership of the small group ministry at Rocky Alliance working with current group leaders and intentionally identifying and growing more leaders.
4. Develop and implement a leadership development strategy where we see people growing into leadership positions in our church.
5. Pastoral Care.
6. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility in developing a ministry budget and working within those parameters
7. Serve regularly in the weekend worship ministries
8. Faithfully attend all staff prayer and planning meetings
9. Pursue ongoing personal and pastoral development
10. Cover any other responsibilities or tasks the Lead Pastor my require.
