A new venture in Owen Sound, ON!

“A church plant should be the outcome of doing mission and not the mission itself.” At least, this is the philosophy for church planting which is resonating in the hearts of many leaders in the Central District. Together, these leaders have dreamed of an emerging stream of New Ventures which will focus on meeting practical needs, starting with a pilot project in Owen Sound.
Named for the essence of the Christian faith - that Jesus gave His life "in exchange" for ours, theXchange centres will be storefront missions that offer free debt and marriage coaching to the community. Teams of debt coaches and marriage coaches are presently being recruited and trained. Complimentary ministries offered through theXchange centres will be the Alpha course, and, where applicable, Celebrate Recovery and ESL. New believers will be integrated into disciple-making communities of faith.
